REGISTRATION

¨      You must have a carpool number and location even if you only pick up your own individual child(ren).

¨      All drivers for an individual carpool must be registered under the same carpool number. 

GENERAL RULES

• Students must know their carpool number/location and use this same carpool location every day.

• Children must enter or exit cars ONLY from the passenger side when cars are in the Loading Zone.  Please remember that this is for the safety of all of our children.

• DO NOT leave your car under any circumstances.  This blocks the entire carpool system.

• Pull up as the other cars move forward.  We want to load 4 cars at a time to speed up the process.

• During carpool times, numbers must be displayed and hanging from the inside rearview mirror of each participating vehicle.

• The three (3) locations are the Circle Drive at the front entrance of the school, the Teachers’ Parking Lot, and Hayes Road, north of Lynbrook.

LOCATION 1 - Teachers’ Parking Lot – YELLOW Numbers (1-199)

• Drivers must enter and exit the Teachers’ Lot via Wood Lodge west of the crosswalk, which separates the two carpool locations.  There is NO LEFT TURN exit onto Wood Lodge.  During carpool hours, there is NO ENTRANCE or EXIT via Cherry Ridge.  NO U-Turns on Wood Lodge.No parking on Wood Lodge during carpool hours.

• DO NOT pull into the Teachers’ Parking Lot to park during carpool hours – children can only enter the car from the loading zone.  You may park in the Teachers’ Lot up until 2:45.

• Children being picked up at this location will wait outside the cafeteria until their number is called.  During bad weather, they will wait inside the cafeteria.

LOCATION 2 – Circle Drive – BLUE Numbers (201-300)

• Driver must enter the Circle Drive on Wood Lodge by turning left from the northbound lane of Hayes Road only, and exit by turning left on to Wood Lodge and then right (southbound) on to Hayes Road.  NO RIGHT TURN is permitted on to Wood Lodge.  NO THROUGH TRAFFIC is permitted on Wood Lodge during carpool times. 

• During carpool hours, there is NO ENTRANCE or EXIT via Cherry Ridge.

• Children being picked up at this location will wait outside by the flagpole until their number is called.  During bad weather, they will wait in the courtyard.

LOCATION 3 – Hayes Road– GREEN Numbers (401-550)

• Drivers coming south from Lakeside Place, onto Hayes Road use this location.  Pull into the loading area. Turn left on to Lynbrook to exit to Wilcrest.  NO RIGHT TURN onto Wood Lodge is permitted.

• Children being picked up at this location will wait inside the fence until their number is called.  During bad weather, they will wait under the T-building awnings.

PARKING RULES

• Parking is permitted on the west side of Cherry Ridge, on Lynbrook Drive (off Hayes Road), on Holly River (off Wood Lodge)Please refrain from using the Teachers’ Parking Lot, unless it is during school hours for the purpose of conducting school business.  Please use Visitor Parking on Hayes.

• There is NO PARKING during carpool hours of operation (7:45 am to 8:30 am and 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm) in ANY carpool lane, on Wood Lodge or on Hayes Road.

REGLAS de “CARPOOL”

Inscripcion

• Todos los conductores de un “carpool” deben estar registrados bajo el mismo numero. 

• Usted necesita un numero de “carpool” y la ubicacion aunque solo recoja a su/s propio/s nino/s..

• Cuando recoja ninos en “carpool,” los numeros deben estar visibles y colgados en el espejo retrovisor de su carro.

• Los alumnos deben saber qual es su numero de “carpool” y la ubicacion donde seran recojidos.

Reglas Generales

• Los alumnos registrados en “carpool” deben usar la misma ubicacion todos los dias.

• Los alumnos deben bajar y subir de los carros solamente del lado del pasajero mientras los carros esten en la zona de ascenso y descenso.  Por favor acuerdense que es por la seguridad de los ninos.

• No baje de su carro por ningun motivo. Si lo hace interrumpira el sistema de carpool.

• Mueva su carro a medida que la linea de carpool avanza. 

• El numero de carpool debe estar visible en su carro en todo momento.

• Las tres ubicaciones son:  la entrada circular (Circle Drive)en la entrada principal de la escuela, el estacionamiento de los maetros (Teachers’ Parking Lot), y Hayes Road, al norte de la calle Lynbrook.

Ubicacion 1 – en el Estacionamiento de los Maestros – Numeros amarillos (1 al199)

• Los conductores deben entrar y salir del estacionamiento a lo largo de la calle Wood Lodge, al oeste del cruce peatonal. Este cruce peatonal separa las dos ubicaciones de carpool. No se puede girar a la izquierda en Wood Lodge durante los horarios de carpool. No se puede salir pot la calle Cherry Ridge.

• Los alumnos que son recojidos en esta ubicacion esperaran afuera de la cafeteria hasta que se los llame por numero.  Permaneceran en la cafeteria si hay mal tiempo.

Ubicacion 2 – en la entrada circular (CIRCLE DRIVE) – Numeros azules (201 al 300)

• Los conductores deben entrar al Circle Drive cruzando a la izquirda desde la linea norte de la calle Hayes y deben salir cruzando a la izquierda en Wood Lodge y luego a la derecha en la calle Hayes.  No hay cruze a la derecha en Wood Lodge.  No se permite el trafico a lo largo de Wood Lodge durante las horas de carpool.  No se puede salir por la calle Cherry Ridge.

• Los alumnos que son recojidos en esta ubicacion esperaran frente al mastil de la bandera hasta que se los llame por numero. Permaneceran en el patio si hay mal tiempo.

Ubicacion 3 – Hayes Road – Numeros verdes (401 al 550)

• Los conductores que viajan sur por Hayes Road usan esta ubicacion.  No se puede doblar a la derecha en Wood Lodge.

• Los alumnos que son recojidos en esta ubicacion esperaran detras de la cerca hasta que se los llame por numero. Permaneceran debajo de los techos del edificio temporal si hay mal tiempo.

REGLAS DE ESTACIONMENTO

• Esta permitido estacionar en el lado oeste de Cherry Ridge, tambien en Lynbrook Drive (fuera de Hayes), y en Holly River (fuera de Wood Lodge). Tambien se permite estacionar en el estacionamiento de los Maetros durante las horas de clase, solo para efectuar tramites rapidos en la escuela.

• No se permite estacionar durante las horas de carpool en ninguna de las lineas de carpool, asi como las calles  Wood Lodge y Hayes Road.
